Christmas is one of the most special holidays in the year. It is the time wherein we are too busy buying gifts for our loved ones. We would often make an effort in setting up decorations in our home to make it look beautiful. We are too excited to open the gifts that we received. We’ve been going to different parties to celebrate Christmas.
Students would have their Christmas vacation and it would give them enough time to rest and prepare for that special occasion. It is also the time that we spend much time with our family. Most would spend this day having Noche Buena with our family at home. Their mere presence are enough to make us feel happy and contented. Opening our gifts under the Christmas tree is just a bonus.
In addition, I believe that we must not forget the fact that it is a day that we must remember all the blessings that we received from Christ. There are a lot of things that happened in our life because of Him. It is okay to celebrate but let us try to have a short prayer thanking him for everything. After all, we are lucky that we still have all the time and resources to celebrate Christmas.
